Gold-bordered mountain
Rising to shut out the sun
Crown worn and removed

Golden sun rising
Glowing crescent descending
Black night retreating

Flame on horizon
Fire behind the eyelids
Burning skies and hearts

Death is in decline
Energy building unnoticed
Until daylight dawns
